Oh help me Rhonda I have nothing much but a bunch-o rambling today.  After the good ole trip to California with my friend Liz I gained 5 pounds.  How annoying is that?  I literally don't understand why I let myself go EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I go out of town.  So I went from 173.6 to 178.  Too much food, too much booze and only 1 day of exercise.  Seems simple enough but I cannot help myself.  I absolutely go buck wild cray cray every time I leave my house.  It's as if I pretend I am some sort of caged animal when I am home and when I leave for vacay...I FREAK THE HELL OUT.

Anyway my friend Boyle came to town this weekend after she and some friends had a bad week with the loss of a wonderful person (blog post about JP to come later this week) And I was determined to have a good time AND not gain weight!!!  We ate a lot we boozed a lot....and HOLLA hooker I didn't gain any weight!  Actually i lost .2 oz. HAHAHAHAHA What a crack up an accomplishment! Anyway so I signed up for My Fitness Pal (i would have created a link but my stupid ass computer won't work the way I want it so just use your brain and google) and it is SERIOUSLY awesome!  It tracks my calories and I can preplan certain meals, create recipes, add my workouts etc.  It's so great.  This morning I got on the scale and it said 174.6.  Whoopty whoop!  On my way back down and gonna keep going.  Look me up username: treygay11.

I have been committed to this 2.25 loop around my hood and I promised myself I would do it and do it and do it until I didn't have to walk at all.  (seriously the mother f*&%#@! altitude and hilly areas kick my lardo honkus)  So yesterday I ran 1.7 of the 2.25 before I walked!!!  Yipppie!  So pumped. I also beat my fastest time!  DOPPLEGANGER MAGILLICUTTY I must be a runner!  My friend Suzzie and I have decided we are going to run the Rock 'n' Roll Dallas Half Marathon (please see above comments regarding my computer and your brain google) in March 2013.  I have plenty of time to train EVERY DAMN DAY (MMMHMMM I need that shirt from my favorite store)

Yummmmmmm.  We had some food that needed to be cooked before it went bad so I hooked my house up with Skirt Steak, sauteed mushrooms and onions, Panko crusted baked Zucchini and a tomato/cucumber salad.  Let me just say....the Baked Zucchini is so damn good it will make you want to slap your mom!  For real.

  1. No fREAKING way you gained 5 pounds in California. I am SO glad I don't have a scale to weigh myself...
    Keep up the good work, TREY! You are an inspiration to me to keep working out. Any time you need a friend to go with, you just let me know and I'll be there! Can't wait to do the 10K next to ya!!!
